Governorship Campaign Kick Off: YDM Launches “My Vote is for YAYI” Initiative, Rallies Supporters Home and Abroad
The Yayi Diaspora Movement (YDM) has launched a personalized campaign initiative designed to give supporters and well-wishers of the Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, a platform to publicly express their solidarity, support and affirmation of confidence in his gubernatorial aspiration.
The initiative, unveiled as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 governorship election, allows supporters across Ogun State, Nigeria and the diaspora to generate personalized graphics carrying their photographs and the powerful declaration: “My Vote Is For Yayi.”The initiative is aimed at strengthening grassroots participation and giving every supporter a visible voice in the growing movement for a prosperous and people-centred Ogun State.
Speaking on the launch, the Convener of the Yayi Diaspora Movement, Hon. Olusola Adisa-Adunbarin, described the initiative as more than a social media campaign, but a symbol of collective belief, solidarity and commitment to the future of Ogun State.
“This initiative represents the voice of the people and the power of collective conviction. Every supporter who proudly declares that his or her vote is for Yayi is making a statement of hope and confidence in a leadership that understands the people and is prepared to serve them.”
Hon. Adisa-Adunbarin further stated that the personalized graphics would provide an opportunity for supporters, both at home and across the diaspora, to identify openly with the aspiration and demonstrate their readiness to participate actively in the democratic process.“Our strength lies in our unity and shared belief in the future we desire for Ogun State. This is a movement driven by conviction, not convenience; by hope, not hesitation.
