YAYI DIASPORA MOVEMENT DONATES BRANDED VEHICLE, DECLARES FULL READINESS FOR THE 2027 GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN

The Yayi Diaspora Movement (YDM) has further demonstrated its unwavering commitment, loyalty and firm belief in the gubernatorial ambition of their principal Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, popularly known as Yayi, with the donation of a specially branded Toyota Sienna vehicle to support the movement and mobilisation drive during the governorship campaign.
The donation, according to the leadership of the movement, is not merely a contribution of a vehicle but a strong symbol of commitment, sacrifice, unity and the collective belief of YDM members across the world in the capacity, competence, experience and people-oriented leadership of Senator Yayi.
Speaking on the development, the Convener of the Yayi Diaspora Movement, Hon. Olusola Adisa-Adunbarin, described the donation as a demonstration of the movement’s practical commitment to the Yayi project and its determination to contribute meaningfully towards the success of the campaign.
“This branded Toyota Sienna represents more than a vehicle; it represents our collective faith, commitment and belief in the leadership qualities and vision of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi. The members of Yayi Diaspora Movement across different parts of the world have continued to demonstrate that their support is not just in words but in action.
“As the governorship campaign season approaches, YDM is fully prepared to mobilise its members, supporters and structures towards ensuring a successful campaign. We believe strongly that Ogun State deserves experienced, purposeful and people-centred leadership, and we remain resolutely committed to the Yayi ambition.”
Hon. Adisa-Adunbarin further disclosed that the movement has put in place a formidable grassroots mobilisation structure across the state, with its representatives already positioned in all the 20 Local Government Areas of Ogun State, while its network of canvassers across the 236 wards is equally fully prepared for the task ahead.
Also speaking, the Global Coordinator of Yayi Diaspora Movement, Hon. Adekunle Adegoke Sanjay, described the donation as a reflection of the unity and strength of the movement, stressing that YDM is fully prepared to play its part in the mobilisation of support for the Distinguished Senator.
“Yayi Diaspora Movement has grown into a formidable force because of the shared conviction of our members that Senator Yayi possesses the capacity, experience, exposure and developmental vision required to take Ogun State to greater heights.
“The donation of this branded vehicle is a clear statement that we are fully committed to this cause. Our structures are in place, our representatives across the 20 Local Governments are ready, our canvassers across the 236 wards are prepared, and our mobilisation force is already in full gear. We are entering this phase with unity, determination and a clear sense of purpose.”
The leadership of YDM also announced that the donation of additional campaign souvenirs and other support materials is already being concluded and will be unveiled in the course of the week as part of the movement’s continued contribution towards strengthening mobilisation and campaign activities.
As the governorship campaigns is expected open in earnest, the Yayi Diaspora Movement wishes to assure members, supporters and the good people of Ogun State that it is fully prepared and ready to hit the ground running in support of the Yayi project.
